Performance
CrystalDiskMark, a disk benchmarking application that conducts a series of simulated stress tests, was used to assess the drive’s performance.

On a disk, these tests are substantially more difficult since they mimic reading and writing 4KB blocks of data from different locations on the drive. Because the data is not in a logical arrangement, the drive takes longer to find the needed information, hence slower speeds are to be expected in this region. This drive performs well in 4K random writes, however it lags behind some of the more expensive drives in 4K random reads.
The Kingston HyperX Fury maintains up with some of the premium drives in sequential read and random 4K write tests for a low-cost drive, but falls short in sequential read and random 4K read testing. If you’re upgrading from a spinning HDD to a cheap SSD, you’ll notice a significant difference.
